Об альбоме

В отличие от другого сборника лучших хитов группы, Echoes, ни одна из песен на диске (кроме «Shine on You Crazy Diamond») не подвергалась сокращению и представляет собой оригинальный альбомный вариант. Также примечательно, что большинство песен плавно переходят друг в друга, так как расположены в том же порядке, что и на оригинальных альбомах: «The Happiest Days of Our Lives» перетекает в «Another Brick in the Wall, Part II», «Have a Cigar» — в «Wish You Were Here», «Brain Damage» — в «Eclipse»; встречается даже тройной «отрывок» из альбома The Dark Side of the Moon — «Time» / «The Great Gig In The Sky» / «Money».

Обложка

Оформленная Стормом Торгерсоном обложка представляет собой коллаж из обложек всех альбомов Pink Floyd (большинство из которых являются работами самого художника), включая артворки, а также концерты и официальные сборники, покрытый слоем пыли. По самому же коллажу прогуливается мужчина в одежде бакалавра.
