The B-52’s («Би-Фифти-Ту-з») — американская рок-группа новой волны, основанная в 1976 в городе Атенс (штат Джорджия) Фредом Шнейдером, Кейт Пирсон, Кейтом Стриклендом, Синди Уилсон и Рики Уилсоном (последний умер в 1985 году). Группа сравнительно быстро получила известность благодаря необычному стилю, в котором соединились панк-рок, фанк, диско, китчевая образность и абсурдный юмор в текстах, а кроме того оригинальный ретро-имидж (причёски Кейт и Синди как раз и назывались Б-52 на сленге южных штатов). Дебютный альбом The B-52's, в свое время ознаменовавший возрождение американской новой волны, которая к 1979 году стала утрачивать силу, сейчас считается культовой классикой. [1]

25 марта 2008 года на EMI вышел седьмой альбом Funplex, первый после Good Stuff (1992). [2]
